Kodacolor II C120 C41 developed in C22. @charliedontsurf @redredgray I guess I DID get the shot of the guy on the bridge. I'm a #photojournalist now The landscapes are something I tried assuming the frames would overlap. I was getting towards the end of the film and this homemade roll holder had it's window changed from 6x6 to 6x9? So I was guessing the overlap. Looks like I had a nice paper bleedthrough as well. The markings on the paper lined up with the bridge and I had a hard time figuring out what that structure was. The symbols on the left side gave me some clues though. I shot some pics of the water - my actual goal, but I'm unsure if they came out, since I accidentally over exposed the frame a couple of times.... Like I said before, sometimes this is harder than bending spoons with your mind...

@redredgray @charliedontsurf I made these in thoughts of you guys. Here is close to a triplet. Taking pictures of myself taking pictures of the bridge. I took the bridge picture when I got there. The "unsafe bridge" sign was actually in my way. As I was taking pictures of the bridge, a guy and his sons, I assumed came and were playing - climbing on the bridge. I was trying to get a shot of them, but it didn't work out. I forgot I took the picture of the sign. I always figure I'm going to have to deal with hooligans while I am recreating. I haven't been able to scan the pictures of the bridge yet. But you were both there as I snapped these. May 31, 2020. Kodak 400 Max processed in fading C22 process. Random Dodge Truck that worked out well in post. "artist's" self portrait - picture of the artist taking a picture of the artist taking a picture. C22 on C41 film, especially stale C22 is interesting. CD-3 Developer is not as active as CD-4 (C41 developer) and so between the CD-3 and I think the benzyl alcohol, the pictures were underdeveloped (even at 14 minutes). Although I also did develop them at room temp - 21C / 72F. Perhaps a warmer bath would have more fully developed the film. However, I think the colors were very muted for the same reason. There is no real value in processing C41 film in C22. C22, at least the version most will use at home, is pretty close to ECN-2 (minus the benzyl alcohol) so it would probably be more useful to explore the color variations between C41 and ECN-2 - which also uses CD-3 as well as Process E-6. I was a bit disappointed in the truck pics as photos but photoshop helped make some pretty good art of them.

#Kodak #5302 circa 1961, shot at ISO 6 (“box” speed). This produces interesting images. This seems more an “artistic” film than a general use film. Light must be managed and considered far more than usual. Not forgiving to light mistakes, although they can prove interesting. Detail can be fantastic. These are shot by hand at 1/30 second average so focus errors are mostly mine. Processed in filtered rainwater and Rodinal 1+50 for 15 minutes, 30 seconds initial agitation and 5 sec every minute thereafter. Stopped in 2% acetic acid, 5 minute freshwater bath, fixed with Ilford Rapid fix at 1+9 for 5 minutes. All scratches are courtesy of Nikon and not intentional, enjoy them if it pleases you…. This emulsion is very soft. #lomo #lomography

This is a pale Yellow stand in my yard. 5302 is blue sensitive and yellow absorbs blue light so this stand was almost invisible on the negative. In fact the negative looked blank. I will reshoot this at ISO 6 and see what comes of the yellow stand... Eastman 5302 dated 1961 exposed and processed 2020 shot at ISO 16 and 25 and developed in Rodinal 1+50 for 15 minutes stopped with 2% acetic acid and fixed with Ilford Rapid at 1+9. Scanned to digital. Exposures are extremely thin and much effort was made to get useable (?) images. Possible, but not practical. Shadows are still deep and position of the sun is more critical than typically

I found I had a light leak in my darkroom and I loaded these in the daytime, might have reexposed them. But... some of the images have come through. More to follow

Just a quick upload - the film is drying but I pulled this off with my phone. These are TMAX 400... shot and developed according to Reinhold's instructions. ( http://caffenol.blogspot.com/2010/10/more-tmax400-caffenol-c-l.html ). Dev time and fixing time is critical. I fixed these for 32 minutes in Kodak standard Fixer. My clip test was 12 minutes, and, if I REALLY followed Reinhold's instructions I would have fixed for 36 minutes.... I will upload the rest when they dry ....

first ever try with #caffenol - caffenol C L - I had the film canister labeled 50ASA but it was actually 100ASA. Probably underexposed and then underdeveloped. 10g/l of iodized salt in lieu of KBr. 40 g/l coffee, in 1 liter distilled water, 16 g/l washing soda, 10 g/l ascorbic acid. developed semi stand for 40 minutes - agitate intially, then 1, 2, 4, 8 minutes. Stop with water + 5 g/l citric acid. Fix with kodak fixer. Washed with woolite & distilled water. Looks underdeveloped... this is heavy PP.
