I took this photo when I was sixteen years old. I was at a summer program for environmental studies in Geneva, New York. The photo is probably of Seneca Lake. I have no idea what specific camera this was shot on, but it was a true Polaroid Land Camera, that much I remember. The instructor just told us to compose the shot and he'd do the rest. I always liked this picture. It has features I'm still drawn to in photographs: vectors, silhouettes, darkness, reflection, and the peculiarity of the time of day when it was taken.
