i am not sure if i really like the lomo purple. i was testing the first two rolls. one with 100 iso and the other with 400 iso - well, as so often i did not write down which roll was which - i assume that this was 100 iso. ... #lomo purple #vienna #trees #gras #garden #pond #art #street

During Christmas time we took a stroll on Mariahilferstraße in Vienna. Lights all over... Some Fotos outside Vienna, and i took the roll for some (not-totallyy planned) double shots on New Year - ruined so great basic shots, where i followed a clear idea... - learning: better not let the lab scan those, DiY!!! Cosina CX2 with a LOMO-Film 400 iso - I like it!
My first Infrared Films - Konica 750nm expired some years ago. I expected something else to be frank. Not sure where the mistake is - old film or wrong exposure? There is hardly any IR effect. I followed the advise in the Internet and set the aperture between 4 and 5.6 and fixed the the time at 1/60. The vertical streaks may be explained in using a fixation bath (Zorki) which has been in the bottle for some time already. Films was loaded in a Zorki 4 & Canon AE1. Semi stand development in Rodinal 1+50 for 25minutes at 21 degrees.

My apologies to those of you who have seen these before in her home, but I thought they came out really well and wanted to see them here too. ;-)

I wanted to try the original Japanese camera that the Russians copied in the LC-A...Most of these were terribly overexposed. Don't know if it was operator error or if there is something wrong with the camera. This one is no LC-A that's for sure!
I received the Cosina (The Mother of the Lomo LC-A) from the photo shop where I do develop my colour and slide films (I only home process black and white so far). I started the roll in December 20 with a nice walk through the foggy early December forest near my home town, continued with some street scenes in Darmstadt and Bensheim and completed today during a long walk through the winterly Odenwald. Loaded with Potsdam Kino 100, semi stand developed, Rodinal 1+100 for 1 hour at 20°. First roll - but I think I prefer the Lomo LC-A. However - will get it another try too.

I felt like I knew her now, at least as well as one could. She was sensitive yet easy to be with, not the fickle, high maintenance girl I'd imagined. She always forgave my clumsiness. I understood that she had others, she gave her love so freely, so innocently, that I couldn't be jealous. I was happy to visit them and try and catch a glimpse of her. After all I knew, somewhere in the back of my mind, that she was as transient as life itself, and when she was gone, she would be gone forever.

I was introduced to her by some friends and it was love at first sight. I knew I had to make her mine. So I took her out in the countryside in the late summer sun to get to know her better. As we walked I realised I didn't even know her name, so she leaned in close and whispered....Aerochrome.
