R-86-A, Ms Frøystein

Ms=MotorSkøyte, boattype "kutter", "kutter" have this kind of front and rear end (for and aft). Ms Frøystein was 76 feet long and built in 1917.
Notice how small the "stearing house" is. Imagine being inside that on the 700 nautical mile trip from the westcoast of Norway to Iceland.
