   I like this idea have you experimented with different holes ? if I were to do it i'd try to get a picture without the box being in the picture. but I don't know how successful i'd be.

   @lomaugustry I've tried various incarnations including a triple hole. The frame is just how you cut the box. I like to leave as little bit of it to keep the film flat. Can always crop at the scanning phase.
