The Grand Harbour - a thriving business in the old days and more so today. Fort St elmo with its balcony from where the Grandmasters saluted the Knights, the first electric elevator at the former british military hospital and the huts next to it which were used by the nurses as changing rooms when having a swim . Since the sea was a bit rough that day, I have only pictures from inside the harbour with its dockyards, a cruise liner, the police telling two anglers off for being out there as it was really rough sea (would not think so by looking at the photo). Well, since you have to go out to the open sea in order to reach Grand Harbour from Sliema, it was funny to see the people in fron of you first above you when the boat climbed a wave and then below you ;-) Was not possible to keep myself and the camera on board while taking pictures, so I decided to take them later :-)
