Lomography Awards: İnsan Hikayeleri: Lomography X Curated By GIRLS: Documenting Beauty

As the old saying goes, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder — it comes in all shapes, colors, and age.

Through your compelling portraits, let's celebrate the diversity of people around the world and document beauty in all its glorious forms. Here are some ideas to get you started:

• First Impressions: What do you usually notice in a person upon meeting them? Is it how their nose crinkles when they laugh or the mesmerizing way their skin glow under the golden sun? Or their eccentric clothing choices and stunning body art? Whatever makes them charming at first glance, let your portraits speak of it!
• Beyond Skin-deep: First impressions never really lasts. Once you've got to know a person, you'll discover they're more than just a pretty face. What makes them unique are their talents and aspirations. Whether they're kind and emphatic or really great with dogs. We'd love to see what it is that makes them even more beautiful beyond their appearance.

Joining us in this competition is Curated by GIRLS, an online platform directed by Laetitia Duveau, which aims to celebrate femininity and female empowerment, and promote an inclusive community for emerging and established talents around the world.

Each participant may submit up to 10 photographs. Five winners will get a voucher worth 50 EUR/USD for our Online Shop. This competition serves as the qualifying round for the Human Stories category of our TEN AND ONE Annual Lomography Photo Awards 2019.
