Ilyich's Little Park

(«The calling leader» - The monument was erected in 1925 at the expense of workers in factories. Author of the monument Alekseev G.D.)
The first monument to Lenin in Reutov city is located now in the same place where it was installed back in 1925 - in the square in front of the former barracks of the second (str Victory, 7). A plaque on the plinth reads that the monument was installed at the expense of the workers of the factory. While the monument was one of the main symbols of the Soviet era, the most monumental of them.
The sculpture is installed in such a way that it seemed that it indicates the right hand side of the entrance of the factory, which is located two hundred meters from the monument. Today, ironically monument points to the newly built Holy Trinity Church, built near the site of the small churches, just closed during the construction of the monument.
For a long time before the image of Lenin tried not to build. Just peacefully growing a beautiful shaded square, planted around the same time.
