    Great great album! Love that you x-pro'd VelviaI just got this lens and was so happy to see you posted an album using it! Do you still have to focus up like you do with the regular Diana lens? Move the camera a bit above the subject when looking through the viewfinder?

    The 38 is my favourite Diana lens too. Impressed that you were able to get these results with 50 iso film in a Diana...!

    @neanderthalis @ohlordy Thank you! It is a great lens indeed, although a bit softer than the original 75mm.
    @txr53 Thank you!
    @kibs Thank you! Congrats on getting this lens! I can't really say about focusing, since none of the photos I have taken with it are extreme close-ups. I guess that you still have to focus it, since Medium Format is not as forgiving as 35mm. It is easier though, since the scale is on top, and not on the front of the lens. Parallax is less of an issue with wide angle, so you don't really need to compensate for it, unless you're shooting at the minimum distance.
    @buckshot Thanks! Yes, the 38 is a lot of fun, and I am inpatient to use it again. The Velvia 50 works, with the "cloudy" aperture stop, and with full sun only. As you can see in the rest of the photos, the areas that didn't get direct sunlight, are completely black and no image can be extracted from it. Another possibility would be to push-process. I haven't tried this yet, but I guess that up to two stops should be OK, as the film is very low on fog even expired for a few years. The contrast would become even kinkier, but that's what we like with x-pro, isn't it?

    @adash Thanks for the tips! I'm still getting used to parallax with the Diana but if I shoot wide angle, might make it easier :)
