Hi, I'm Mark, a backend software developer (mostly C# microservices) and film photography enthusiast from Almaty, Kazakhstan.
LomoHome of the day September 19 2024 and October 13 2025.
I try to be a practical collector, so my main setup is: an Olympus OM-4Ti and 4 awesome Zuiko lenses: the 28/2.8 MC, the Macro 50/2, the 135/2.8 MC and the 35-70/3.6.
I also have a lovely unique M42-converted Soviet RO60-1 cinema lens (75mm f/2) which my grandpa gave me, and a Pentax ME Super (or a Contax ST in the future) with an M42 adapter. I also have a Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35/2.4 to make it a well-rounded Eastern block smooth-rendering close-focus pair.
I have more than 8 years of experience with Sony DSLRs, but only with film have I managed to really grow as a photographer and achieve a style that I'm really happy with.
My favorite film stocks so far are Kodak Pro Image 100 for C41, regular Vision3 250D for ECN-2 and Ilford HP5 pushed to 1600 for B&W.
