Mamiya Myrapid half frame camera from 1967

I was offered this camera dirt cheap and bought it (with a fake leather case) without knowing anything about it. It turned out to be a half frame camera with the discontinued «rapid» film cartridge system from Agfa which competed with the Kodak 126 cartridge. I guess both companies lost that race. But this camera still works! More about half frame cameras in the Lomography magazine: www.lomography.com.tr/magazine/315498-7-charming-half-frame…. This picture is taken with an Agfa Silette (1953) with only scale focus. The shutter speed was set to 1/25 (slowest) and apperture to 4 (3.5 is the widest).

Nice capture. I am going to see what the camera you used to take this picture looks like as well. It also works!

@neufotomacher Good luck with that. I used only the Auto setting which the camera to use shutter speeds from 1/30 to 1/800. In manual mode (that is if you select a f-stop other than «auto» on the lens barrel) the only shutter speed is 1/30. I have not found any manuals on the net, but if you search for Yashica Half 17 EE Rapid it is practically the same camera. Both made by Tomioka. 👍🏻
