First try with the new Ferrania P30 Alpha. Loaded it into the Lubitel and headed into Vancouver. Rather lazy about metering, I actually only metered once, box speed 80 iso, and went from there by guess. Having read somewhere that contrast was flat/low, I went for a full 1 hour stand in Blazinal 1+100 with agitation every 30 seconds for first 5 minutes and then for 5 seconds at 30 minutes. I got contrast to spare so will try the next roll at Ferrania's recommended 45 minute stand.

Great album! The extreme contrast and the exposed sprocket holes give a very special look.

I love P30 but I've found it's very temperamental when it comes to processing. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any grain to it at all and everything looks velvety smooth. It is very film noire though, isn't it? Hopefully they can ramp up film production soon.

Thanks @ces1um, I was very pleased with the look of P30 and am eager to experiment more with it. I am hopeful that good things are yet to come from Ferrania!
