Lockheed A-12

This Lockheed A-12 is on display in front of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, and is visible from Interstate 565. This model was built for the CIA as a spy plane. This type of aircraft was later developed into the SR-71 Blackbird. NASA also used several aircraft of these types for research.
