Dog early afternoon shot at ISO 6. Light damaged film

Kodak 5302 light damaged roll shot at ISO 6 in the afternoon. Developed in filtered rainwater with Rodinal 1+200 with .25 gr (1gm / ltr) potassium bromide for 12 hours stand. stopped with <2% acetic acid and fixed for 5 minutes with Ilford Rapid at 1+10.

    It does work, I've actually heard of people doing the same with 1+300!

    @charliedontsurf Yeah now I wish I'd used a better roll. LOL. The tones are very nice esp with this fine grain. However I like grain.

    @mike1allison yes no grain is a big problem when using an ultra slow film like this but if you can get it to work for you it will have its own unique characteristics that set it apart from digital.

    @charliedontsurf That is one reason I like the D1h and the D1x, the low megapixel and digital noise become part of the composition, especially with low light. (That, and the fact that they now cost about the same as an N75 these days). But while digital is magical, nothing beats the magic of film and development and the surprise when there is an actual image on the film or the paper....
