This is terrific, so good. How were these colors achieved? Was the film expired?

Trees have roots and roots are like an anchor.
The more the roots grow, the more stable the trees are.
The branches rise to the sky, never finding stability in the air.
The more they grow, the more they want to rise even higher, to cover the sky, to fix it.
Sometimes the branches get tired and dizzy from so much struggle and then the only solution is to cut them.
After that, a moment of silence follows.
A graceful swan floats between two inverted worlds.
In that moment of silence, a very precise question mark hangs in the sky and its mysterious reflection looks for the depths.
But the moment of silence does not last too long.
New branches start to grow from the tree.
    Again and again.

@vicas It was new film but maybe exhausted chemistry. I made this photo over 10 years ago and I think I would like to find the negative and attempt to scan it again without giving too much concern for loosing highlights in the sun/sky. I reckon I'd make a better job of it now.

@sienna-arsa Thank you for your interpretation of this photo. I love the shapes these willows make after years of continuous pruning. Every year they sprout vivid yellow tender branches which are cut down so that next year they will do the same.
