Sculpture Strength Komondor / Скульптура Сила Комондора

Gabor Miklos Coke, known for his monumental sculptures of animals made of planks set in Gorky Park its third sculpture in Russia. As a sculptor chose the theme of ancient dog and typical Hungarian culture Komondor breed with a special appearance and character traits. To create komondor artist inspired by the strength, endurance and confidence, typical for this breed of dog. komondor body, was captured at the time of the run, fanned by winds and soaring felt-like strands of wool. To achieve this effect, the artist achieved using roughly placed boards. The sculpture is made of the most durable of the Hungarian wood, dynamism and proximity to nature convey a compound of several thousand boards of different sizes, painted and attached one to the steel frame.
The work was created in the framework of the festival "Hungary +" with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary, and the Institute of Balassi - Hungarian Cultural Centre in Moscow.
