   Which adapter are you using for the lens? Does it focus to infinity? Is there a glass element?

   Hi, I just bought the cheapest adapter from ebay, M42 to Nikon. It does focus to infinity and does have a glass element, however I had to put some stacked paper rings between the adapter and the lens as not all apertures were working. The adapter seemed too deep for the screw attachment on the actual lens. So now it works fine and allows it to use all aperture settings, however I can only focus from the base setting (0.5) up to the setting between 10 and infinity so am looking for a workaround!

   Today is the first time I have taken the lens out and I love it! Can't wait to use it some more.
