Portent of Good or Evil
What does dreaming look like? Ancient cultures and many people still today believe that our dreams can be used to predict the future. If symbols can be properly interpreted, we can know the future. When I took this shot I did not turn the wheel completely. Parts, like sequences in a dream, overlap. This film was cross processed. The vibrant colors and dark recesses create the sense of a dream-state. The bright sun is a good omen and the haloed water a mysterious one, perhaps bad. The man between the two destinations does not face either. He is a-directional. Will he show me where to go? Will he save me? Will I save him? This is what dreaming looks like.
