A large barn with an imposing concrete post entrance. The farm had no road access for many years access was from the Whanganui River. Roads came much later after WW1.

Fred is one of 6 volunteers who come from Coromandel every 3 months to spend a week on Predator Control at Blue Duck Station. He is having a well earned break and is making opossum traps to put out on the trapline in the bush. The team receives free accomodation at The Villa

This batch of expired Fuji was really damaged. The second roll I shot (Olympus point and shoot) came out blank, and these are the only 3 pics I deemed acceptable from the 3rd roll. That's it with expired film for the moment! :-)
Got a Polaroid SX-70 OneStep as a bonus item at auction. Was surprised to find that the camera was loaded with a film pack that had three exposures left. Was even more suprised that the battery still had some juice. Was absolutely floored that the remaining pictures had chemisty blisters that were still active, especially considering the pack must have been opened some time ago. Here are the result. All white was the first....discovered it by opening the camera, hence the fully over-exposed print. Second is the stained glass in my front window. Totally over-exposed, but in a wonderful way. The third is the chairs, which I absoutely love. The back (black) shows the date stamp.

ImageTech 3D is a stereo cam from the nineties. I am using a single use version, which was an ad for the "real" cam at that time. And of course I am reloading it. But slowly the cam is dying. It is harder to advance the cam, the lightleaks are getting stronger.....

I attended 2 workshops for Cyanotypes and Gum Bichromate and I have to say I loved them. It's a trully remarkable and seriously fulfilling experience to work with these methods. I tried both botanical photograms and printing from digital negatives. Of course there's a LOT to learn but I'm willing!!
