The images in this album were taken in the hills (The Darling Scarp) directly to the east of Perth. This particular patch of bush burnt about three weeks ago. Although the trees look dead, they will sprout new leaves in autumn (a wet mild season in West Australia). Unfortunately some families lost their homes, or suffered damage to their property in the fire, so it is with the greatest respect to those families affected that I post these photographs.

This photograph was taken using a Diana F+ 38mm lens with my Nikon.
