What is light painting?

Light Painting (sometimes known as Light Graffiti) is a technique where you can alter the photo by creating movements of light within the image. Using moving lights such as flashlights, glow sticks, light brushes, or even your mobile device, you can “paint” with the light as it is being photographed with a long exposure. This is mostly done in lowlight situations in order to best see the images made of light.
