Low light testing the Pentax Espio 140V. Shots from one of the last December parties at Duke of London's garage in West London. That harsh flash is typical for a compact although it can be good for night portraits. I used the Night Portrait feature on the Pentax Espio 140V but did not try the Slow Sync which would have allowed me to light up the subject with the flash and then pick up the background with a slower shutter. This effect could have been cool. On the tube it's clear that without a tripod shooting the Espio in not particularly low light can lead to annoyingly slow shutter speeds. In bright sun with the Espio's zoom at full stretch the aperture goes up to f/4.5. #Pentax#Pentaxian#ILoveMyPentax#LondonCameraProject#CompactCameras#CloseUp#Flower#PentaxEspio140V#PentaxEspio
