LC-A+ meets stars.
First tried stellar lomography wth LC-A+. Valve photography. Exposed for 20 minutes. Lomography X-Pro100 (Cross processed). Really tough challenge in minus 15 degrees, but I enjoyed a lot.

Experimented with infrared ocean shots. The sun was to bright to get those cobalt blues I was hoping for, but I love how it captures everything on the rocks. Going to try shooting this again with Sarah earlier in the day.

As the weeks went by, my love for her became an obsession, as is the nature of unrequited love. I spent every penny I had on her, trying to delay the inevitable. I had always naively believed that money couldn’t buy love and it hurt me to admit that, had I been richer she would stay with me longer. But there would come a time when even money couldn’t buy her, like a flame that burned too bright she couldn’t last. So I became an amateur meteorologist, studying the horizon like an anxious parent watching their child take their first, faltering steps, looking for cloud formations and changes in the wind, trying desperately to make the most of our time together. But the happiness I felt in her presence was now tinged with sadness as I could feel her slipping away.

As I spent more time with her, my love for her grew, matched only by her apathy for me. But I didn't care, she was special and she made me feel special. She was popular in a way I could never have imagined. Just walking on grass felt like being on the red carpet and people came to my home day and night. I flattered myself it was me that drew them but I knew deep down they only sought a glimpse of her. She imbued even the most mundane with a surreal beauty and I envied her...envied her and loved her.

I felt like I knew her now, at least as well as one could. She was sensitive yet easy to be with, not the fickle, high maintenance girl I'd imagined. She always forgave my clumsiness. I understood that she had others, she gave her love so freely, so innocently, that I couldn't be jealous. I was happy to visit them and try and catch a glimpse of her. After all I knew, somewhere in the back of my mind, that she was as transient as life itself, and when she was gone, she would be gone forever.

My LC-A+ has problems with the shutter and doesn't open properly. Noticed it after I shot the film, therefore all pics are underexposed but still I like them.

So these are from my trip to NYC last year with the amazing @kylethefrench. While I was there I realized that my LC-W was broken and it wasnt shooting properly. I would get only 3 or 4 pictures out of a roll. It was sad. These are a mix of all the rolls I lost. Obviously I need to go to NYC one more time to take the pictures again. My flight is booked for the end of October. Lomo friends from NYC, let's meet up! :D
