Why film?
Photography enables me to be present in the moment, with infinite variability, and challenge. It provides me with seeing, taking, and manipulating to create a reflection of a point in time from my minds eye.
The medium enables self exploration, and leaves physical proof of our existence. The negative cannot be copied or digitized into the same exact form. It is a lifelong pursuit. This is why I do it.

I develop at home. I roll my own film. I repair old cameras I acquire or have gifted. I do these things because I like to.
