i got these really outdated B&Ws from eBay. I was so excited when I got the negatives back and saw that they looked moldy.
THE MOLDY LOOK AND THE CONTRAST BETWEEN THE CIRCULAR BALLOONS AND THE POINTED WIND TURBINES ARE WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS SHOT.
Since I was the only one who had a lomo camera in the group, I did the lomowalk alone. An hour before we left for the airport, I took one last stroll along the beach.
LESSON LEARNED: the beach can over expose an ISO 100 film
Underexposed multi layered photo. I can imagine there is a true sense of wonder and isolation soaring above the clouds in a baloon looking down on Earth. There are a lot of reasons this lomograph is one of my favorites. It is my most popular lomograph. It is a double exposure and I love doubles. I also love hot air balloons and hope to one day ride in one.
One of the first rolls from my practice with the Lomography Petzval lens and a Nikon FM2 camera, which I borrowed from my brother for a couple of weeks.

Little experiment with double exposure. Would have framed it better, but it worked.
STEPS. Planned the pose first, then I slipped away while she stood still and I snapped the shot.
I then slipped back into the same position as she slipped away and snapped the second exposure.
Accidental double exposure, the first exposure was full frame with a Canon EOS 300, the second exposure was done as homemade red scale half frame using an Olympus Pen EE-3. The original full frame shots were done over a year ago.
