It was not Higantes Festival. But Angono's colorful papier mache giants were part of the parade in the Cultural Center of the Philippines' annual openhouse event called Pasinaya. Took these shots of the giants while they were about to go on parade. Doubled my shots with stamps, texts and vintage photo.

Using shots of painted shirts by the children themselves as base images I made doubles with random shots minutes before the showcase program. The colorful results reflected the fun I had working with these youngsters through the many exercises, art activities and discussions we had about their rights.

Went to shoot in San Francisco's Chinatown. I decided to walk away from the usual tourist streets so I went through the alleys. And so I saw Evan.....
He said he was practicing his Shaolin Kung Fu and his master lives in one of the tiny apartments there. It was fun to watch Evan. His focus, his moves, his craft....it made my day!
