once upon a time..i traveled to the north of India...to Jaipur in Rajasthan.. to meet with old friends from architecture school....
traveling with me were two new associates at the time...the Sprocket Rocket and the Diana F+ ....
..while the Sprocket Rocket brought back a lot of beautiful memories, it appeared that the Diana needed time to get into the swing of things...a trait that is very typical of the special one...
one and half year has passed since that time...and here I am ...looking at my first Diana pictures again...and surprisingly...I am beginning to like them..!!!!...the very same pictures..rejected once upon a time...is not looking too bad..!!!...so here they are...my first Diana F+ pictures from October of 2012...from a place full of mystery, adventure, royalty and dripping with history - India Style...

my first film swap….. with rainboow http://www.lomography.com/homes/rainboow …... unfortunately that famous quirk of the Sprocket Rocket interrupted..!!!…the back cover came off..!!!!..argggg…:)…the roll went blank..except for these four shots..!!!…arggg..arggg…:)..…!!..:)..but I think it is still worth it…!!…:)…

This one has the beautiful horses from Oberammergau, Germany accompanying the famous hindu Temple dedicated to Goddess Shanta Durga.. here in Goa, India.

visiting the city of Jaipur catapults us back in time to a historical era when architecture was grand in scale..this is the icon of jaipur...the Palace of the Winds locally referred to as Hawa Mahal.
It is one is one of my best Lomographs.. because the imagery reflects a kind of haunting spirit of this structure, that still domineers over the city today.

Bought some cheap sunglasses with a vintage brown shade (my favorite when it comes to sunglasses) at sale and held it in front of the lens..and that's the result :)

Greg: ah this was exciting - all of Duke Street was sealed off - lots of firemen, police and ambulance - the gas main had blown up and there was a blackened hole where the manhole had blown up...coudn't get any nearer...
