Thank God snow is only once a year

when it snows in London, the whole city's transport system collapsed. I went to the theater on saturday evening when it started snowing. Immediately tube stopped working, so I had to queue for the taxi for an hour in order to get home. It snowed all night, and on Sunday morning I decided to go for a walk around my house and take some pictures...

From my part of the world, an experience of snow is most welcome. Had it before when I was in the US years ago but really didn't like it much, specially when snow started to melt and dirt mixed with ice. But I had a wonderful experience of snow fall in one of my work-related trips to Seoul. Recently in my revisit to Seoul, my friend fangcaracpenter and I were hoping to see snow. We had been waiting for it the entire week but it didn't come despite the weather forecast. But I could not agree less with you - thank God snow is just once a year - specially now that winter has reached record low temperatures that's killing people. Anyway, I won't trade the tropical climate in my part of the world. Great winter shots though!

I used to live in Russia before where the snow was more frequent. I always gating it melting (it always does in the big cities). I hated huge icicles falling down from the roofs, too. I hated low temperature (minus 10 or minus 20 was a regular thing). I am so glad it only snows once or twice in London!
