Buona sera

The Château de Clisson is built on a rocky spur on the bank of the river Sèvre in Clisson. It was inhabited by the lords of Clisson and later owned by the dukes of Brittany. During the French revolution, it sheltered royalists who were eventually thrown alive in the well by the republicans after the battle of Torfou. They also burnt down the castle and the entire city around.
