The Pentax Espio 145M comes from a family of quite attractive respectable compact cameras with a nice line of features including a range of flash settings and a psuedo panoramic setting. This is a switch below the camera that brings a mask across the film plane to place a bar at the top and at the bottom of the frame. Used properly it can look quite cool. The bulb mode is a cool feature if you have a tripod but with sucj a small unit you'll really need a remote release which I don't have. This means there is still the inevitable shake in operation but it can still be fun to use. Notice thee first well lit image of the bench shot with flash off and with the shutter taking its own sweet time. Next is a very short bulb mode exposure which is terribly under exposed. Then is the shot with a 5-8 second bulb mode exposure. The autofocus is quite sophisticated but is not fool proof and this fool managed to miss the subject once or twice. The glass lens is sweet though. #Pentax #Pentaxian #ILoveMyPentax #LondonCameraProject #CompactCameras #CloseUp #Flower #PentaxEspio145M #PentaxEspio #LowLightLoveliness #LowLightPhotography #LondonCameraProject
