This is an introduction to using a candle flame to manipulate and distort your negatives. This process results in melted, stretched, and twisted images with colour shifts. Proceed with caution there is no going back.
for these doubles I have decided to use my portraits archive. All of the portraits featured here were taken by me back in 2007-2011. I over layered it with planets and graphics. I really love the results!

I used Kodak Ultramax 400 film, but treated it as though it was a 200 since I was exposing the wrong side. I used a green filter on many of the shots and set the ISO to 100 to complicate for the loss of light this caused - it was a nice sunny day and so this was not a problem.
My friend and I woke up at 3:30 in the morning to drive and catch the sunrise on the beach for a little photo session. Abby was such a trooper, she was getting (basically) naked in 25 degree weather! IT WAS FREEZING.

1993 expired film that I got for free from a friend. Kept in a darkroom. Rated at 50 ISO. Annoyed the technician at the lab as I think the paper backing was a mess to remove!

i shot this one my hot shots courses this weekend. one of the tasks is to shot a list of 66 things on 2 rolls on film in 3 hours. this was for a stranger at 80cm
