Guess this is my lomographic homage to Ihara’s “Misao, the Big Mama and Fukumaru the Cat”, with baby chicks playing the role of the cat! These are rediscovered photos I took over a decade ago on a Canon digital point-and-shoot. The chicks were insatiably curious about the camera. At the time, I was disappointed that I couldn’t get the point-and-shoot to focus on the chicks as they explored the camera. Looking back now, I actually like these a lot – it’s like the chicks are taking amateur lomography selfies!
